Post Graduate Open Work Permit

The Post-Graduation Work Permit Program (PGWPP) allows students who have graduated from eligible Canadian designated learning institutions (DLIs) to obtain an open work permit to gain valuable Canadian work experience. The longevity of PGWP depends on the course that you took and its duration.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be 18 or older when you apply.
  • Course should be full time and should be for at least 8 months in Canada.
  • Must apply for a work permit within 90 days of completing your course.
  • Must have a written proof from the college or university indicating the above-mentioned point.
  • Must have a valid student visa when you apply for the PG Work Permit Canada.
